It’s an effectively shot trailer, giving just the right hint of Predator without spoiling it by revealing all of the film’s secrets. Those familiar with the Predator mythology will have a few chills as the screenshot above evidence, and while I’ll miss Jesse Ventura and maybe Arnie too, this film is looking better than ever.

Staggering to me that it’s been 20 years since a bonafide Predator movie – sans Aliens – has been on the screen. My thoughts? I actually had hoped, years ago, that someone might do this concept, of getting humans on a Predator planet. Following up on the SXSW sneak peek that was released online last weekend, the full theatrical trailer for Predators has finally dropped over on IGN and it looks pretty bad ass. The movie is being produced by Robert Rodriguez and directed by Nimrod Antal (Armored, Vacancy, Kontroll).
